电影《Assassins》里，Juliane Moore给史泰隆讲了这个故事，现翻译如下。

从前，一只小鸟飞向南方过冬，路上冻僵了，掉到了路上。一头牛过来，在它身上拉了一泡屎，结果就把它解冻了。小鸟感到又温暖又舒服，于是就开始唱歌。一只猫听见了，把小鸟从粪堆里扒了出来，把它吃掉了。

这个故事告诉我们：在我们身上拉屎的，并不总是敌人。把我们拉出粪堆的，并不总是朋友。最最重要的是，当你觉得又温暖又舒服的时候，最好把嘴巴闭上。

Electra: Once upon a time, there was this little sparrow, who while flying south for the winter froze solid and fell to the ground. And then to make matters worse the cow crapped on him, but the manure was all warm and it defrosted him. So there he is, he's warm and he's happy to be alive and he starts to sing.
